It is difficult to describe, how their presence affects the atmosphere of our home.

Without doing much, they make us happy, calm us, make us laugh,

bring us back to the present moment

and have so much love to share.

We are lucky to live so close to the amazing beaches of Portugal’s west coast.

In 20 – 30 minutes you can reach the Lagoa de Santo André, where the wild ocean meets shallow calm water of the lagoon

 Praia de Melides close to the very pretty village of Melides

 Praia de Galé with its beautiful sand cliffs

 Praia de São Torpes, the absolute must for Surfers

, Praia de Samoqueira with its rocks and low waves, ideal for swimming and jumping

and many more beaches along the coast to Porto Covo and Vila Nova de Milfontes.
